Justin too hates his meds. He will probably have another endo in March, but
would rather have that than probe because you are pretty much asleep with the
endo. There is a new thing available in about 100 hospitals across the
country. It's called numby, it's a bandage with tiny electrodes that goes on
the spot where a needle is going like for an IV or blood test, ten min. after
the bandage is put on, it comes off and the spot is numb the kids wont mind
the needle sticks. I am going to insist on this next time Justin needs an IV.
That should take some of the scarryness away. Justin had a gastric emptying
which tests how quickly food moves through the system, this must be done when
considering surgery. Justin at first wanted surgery so he could stop taking
meds, but when I told him it will be several weeks before he could eat regular
again, that changed his mind. He sees his GI next Wednsday so we will know
more then , right now, the Dr. thinks he will out grow it, but I don't think
so.
