I was just wondering if someone could help me. My son is 7 years old, but
cannot tell me if he is refluxing again. He had a fundo. done 1 year ago.
Lately though he seems to be swallowing alot. I can't tell if it is from
reflux or if he may be just swallowing air. He is really bloated again,
like he used to be, but I don't know if that would be from anything. He
always had silent reflux, and I was just wondering, if they cannot express
what is happening, what are some symptoms to look for, so I can tell if
this is his reflux again, or just nothing. Thanks

Carolynn

Carolyn, ... Reflux can cause chest pains - because the esophagus goes into spasm. Before I started taking Prilosec myself I used to get really bad chest ...

It is interesting that you ask this today. I just read an article on Medscape(the Gastoenterology section) about a study that shows that at least 2/3 of all...
