Hello everyone... i am new to this Reflux disease, well sort of... My son who is now 6 1/2 will be going to his specialist appointment with the GI doctor on the 2nd of May. As an infant he had projectile vomiting at nearly every feeding. The doctor always said he had an immature valve in his stomach and that he would grow out of it. After quite a few doctor appointment we finally took his word for it and just resolved to the fact that we would have to clean up baby vomit at each feeding.... Needless to say, he is now almost 7 and will still vomit at least one of his meals, usually breakfast. He says he gets a 'funny' feeling in his stomach before it happens. I have finally had enough of the doctors telling me to ignore it and one even told me that it is possible that it is psychological and to ignore him when he does it..... welllllllllllllll i have tried it all and let me tell u (as you ALL know) that my son definately has GERD. Well that is my diagnosis and I am sure that I will be right come Wednesday after our appointment. Would anyone please tell me if any of you have been thru this and what meds your children are on and so forth. Oh he did have an upper GI done 2 weeks ago that showed that my son did have more than mild reflux. Any help or advice you can give me would be appreciated... Feel free to send private email if you would like to me. Pippie333@.... Thank You all very much
Amy
