HELP!!! My son is suffering from hives. Its been going on for a month.
The doctor put him on Previcid and he broke out in hives immediately.
The doctor took him off it and put him on a high dose of Pepsid. Peter
has been on it before with no reaction. This time the hives have just
continued. The doctor took him off the Pepsid as well. The hives have
not gone away. Has anybody heard of this kind of reaction? We're using
Benedryl but after a month, I think this is excessive. Also, I forgot
to mention, the doctor to make sure it was the Pepsid, had me give him
a double dose Thursday. The doc said we'll know if its the Pepsid and
not something else. I gave him the Pepsid and 10 minutes later Peter
was covered in hives. So we know its the meds definately. If anyone
can help,PLEASE email me directly.
