Bill I too faced a very similar situation as you have in regards to being
able to return to work. Only that was 6 years ago.

First of all let me say how sorry I am that you are going through all of
this.
The pain of RSD in itself is hard to get used to and losing your job or pay
getting cut in half is devastating.

My first thought is to tell you to wait until you see the doctor and see
what he says.

Has comp said why they are cutting your pay?
Have the doctor's released you to work light duty? If so, do you feel you
can do it?
Are you seeing a doctor/pain management physician that is well-versed in
RSD?
