Dear RSD support group members:

I have received some very sad news from one of our fellow group members,
that our mutual friend and member of this group for some time, George Friday,
passed away late on November 27, 2005. I have been told that he passed away in
his sleep, sometime after midnite. The exact cause of his death is unknown,
although an autopsy is being performed. George was a friend to many of us, a
strong fighter of this monster we call RSD, who was unwilling to ever let the
monster get him down. George was residing with his beloved grandmother in El
Reno, Oklahoma at the time of his death. He was, I believe, not even 40 years
old at the time of his death. He was also an active member of the Oklahoma
RSD Support Group. His funeral will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home in El
Reno on December 5, 2005 at 2:p.m. Central Time. The address of the Funeral
Home is 100 N. Barker Street, El Reno, OK 73036 and the phone number is
405-262-3311. Those of us who were fortunate to have met and gotten to know
George
may want to remember his struggle and valiant, unwavering battle with RSD in
your own personal ways. If you wish to send flowers, there are several local
florists in El Reno who can help with selections. Brenda (AngellB), who called
me early this morning and sent me the details, suggests that anyone who
wishes to send flowers contact El Reno Flowers, a local florist in El Reno, at
800-419-6594. RSDHope.org and other RSD websites allow us to "light a candle"
for our RSD Angels as well. I will be posting a link to his obituary in a
separate email.

Godspeed, George. I know you are no longer in pain. I feel so blessed to
have had you in my life.
