I'm in a bit of a flare right now so please don't expect much from
me here. A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with RSD and so I
refered her to the International Research foundation for RSD/CRPS.
(I suspect we all have this site bookmarked?)
anyway at their site they have a third edition for the clinical
practice guidelines. It is significantly different than previous
editions. there is also a section by the owner of the site I
believe Anthony Kirkpatrick where he writes I believe it is some
kind of open letter telling why the AMA is doing a disservice to
people with RSD by saying that in order to diagnose a patient with
RSD they must have eight symptoms of RSD....
Anyway, he has decided to give up his membership in the AMA because
of this.....
Please go to the site and read the information for yourself, I may
have even gotten the Dr's name wrong......
