Want to talk about health and wellness?
We welcome health practitioners, businesses, and others interested in holistic health and wellness in southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois to this discussion list.
"The Guide To Health, Wellness and Creative Living in Southeast WI and Northern IL," is a popular annual directory to holistic, alternative and complementary practitioners, business and resources in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
We focus on wellness, health and healing -- which is interpreted broadly to include conventional health practitioners who appreciate integrative approaches in their work and refer to other allied professionals; alternative practitioners, schools and businesses employing Eastern, Native American or other non-traditional methods with sensitivity and skill; and organizations and businesses that understand that learning and growing happens in many ways including the expression of creativity, group support and personal journeying.
We anticipate that this discussion is way to stay connected with each other, offering news, information and announcements of interest to professionals and the public and referral sources.
Membership and participation in this discussion list is free. For information about listings and advertisements in the next issue of The Guide, please contact Jamie Jacobs, editor and publisher, at jamie@theguide2wellness.com.

The editor and publisher is Jamie Jacobs, who purchased The Guide from founder Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, a psychotherapist and psychodramatist in Racine, Wis. It has been published since 2002 under the name of "The Guide to Health, Wellness & Creative Living in Racine, Kenosha and Nearby in Wisconsin" and has been read, enjoyed, saved and passed from hand to hand since that time. Karen Carnabucci continues to be involved as contributing editor.
