Disability lawyers in RI   Message List

Hi everyone. I'm currently appealing my disability denial. I still haven't gotten a definite decision on this appeal (it's the first one), but I'm pretty sure it'll be denied again. I might get lucky, but going by what I have heard from other people in my situation, I doubt it. My age is actually hurting my case, which is bullshit. I feel like that is age discrimination.

Anyway, is there anyone out here who WON their SSDI case who used a lawyer? Who can you recommend? I need the name(s) of some lawyers who will help me. I'd rather use one who someone else had a very positive experience with, so please, help me out! I was told by SSDI that there are certain lawyers that work with them, but I'd still feel better hearing from an actual patient with fibro who they used for a good disability lawyer. I see commercials on TV for Binder & Binder all day long. I don't care if the person you used doesn't advertise on TV, just as long as they got you what you deserve and you won!

Has anyone heard of or used someone named John Coughlin? He is the one they referred me to and I spoke to him on the phone. He told me he can't do anything until I am denied a second time. Help!!!!!

So, I hope you will all hear my plea out there. I know the time is coming where I am going to need to be really prepared about this stuff. Thanks in advance.

I hope you all have a great weekend and are all in as little pain as possible!

Gentle hugs-

To the loneliest one,
There is in certain living souls
A quality of loneliness unspeakable
So great it must be shared
As company is shared by lesser beings.
Such a loneliness is mine; so know by this
That in immensity
There is one lonelier than you.
