Introducing ProHealth's New General Health Newsletter
...For All Your Health Concerns

FM and ME/CFS patients know it's vital to be proactive in managing their own health, and readers have been asking us for up-to-date information on general health issues - in addition to news about FM/ME/CFS. So for 2008 we're pleased to introduce a third e-newsletter - ProHealth's General Health Treatment & Research News. This means each month you will:
  • Receive one issue of FM Treatment & Research News (and one of ME/CFS Treatment & Research News, if you're a dual subscriber).
  • Plus one issue of General Health Treatment & Research News.
Since General Health Treatment & Research News is for you, your suggestions and comments will be our guide. So watch for it in your e-mailbox, and help us make it a great health-management tool.

Roller Coaster Days

Having chronic pain can seem like being on a roller coaster, at least in the beginning. One day we're able to go for a walk, work a full day or even exercise, and the next day we're paralyzed...When our pain no longer controls us and we begin to manage it, our ride will come to an end. We will discover there can be a balance in managing our pain. We will come to know our limitations and our strengths and weaknesses. We will discover we have more control over managing our pain that we once thought.
