Patients Quiz Dr. Pall - the Biochemist Who Developed a New Explanation for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia
Martin Pall, PhD, has developed an antioxidant protocol to help fight the cell-damaging amounts of peroxynitrite that he thinks cause CFS and FM. Our savvy chat room visitors asked him about everything.

  WEEKLY INSPIRATION

"You know how when you put a stick in water and it looks bent? That's why I never
take baths." - Steven Wright

To Help Lighten Life
Reframe your situation and others' situations in a lighter way. Ask yourself or another you are trying to help, "How would a young child see this situation?" Or ask, "How would your favorite comedian make light of this situation?" Think of a difficult time you went through long ago, a time you are now at peace with and can even joke about, and realize that whatever you or another is going through now might similarly shift and be transformed over time. Reframe any event into a matter that is not so serious and loaded. A childlike and whimsical perspective on life can help keep us young, flexible, and happy.

From Why Good Things Happen to Good People
by Steven Post, PhD, and Jill Neimark, Broadway Books, New York, 2007.
