Boston Scientific has a terrific pdf entitled "Dental Equipment and Implanted
Pacemakers and Defibrillators". From this Feb 9, 2009 article it states,
"Ultrasonic dental Scalers"..." Boston Scientific devices comply with the AAMI
PC69 standard which in general suggests Boston Scientific devices should NOT BE
AFFECTED by interference from peak magnetic field intensities less than 20 A/m
(0.25 Gauss) between 10 to 100 kHz." Any how there is a whole host of good info
related to this and I would direct you to this site for information.
