Description

Quinolone Survivors

This group is dedicated to encouraging those innocent, unsuspecting victims suffering from being poisoned by the family of super antibiotics known as Quinolones such as Cipro, Floxin, Levaquin, Ofloxacin, etc .  THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION FORUM.  It is simply a place for those who have survived the Hell of Quinolone poisoning, also known as being "Floxed," to post their encouragement to others.  You may post your own experience of healing or post links and quotes of others who have survived Quinolones.

To all of you who are just beginning your own arduous journey back to health, please take hope.  Even though there is no antidote, drug, procedure, supplement or herb that will "cure" you, you will get better.  Time is your cure.  Hang on.  If it is a loved one who has been poisoned, take heart.  You will get them back.

Also, do not take this forum as an indication that simply because most Floxies heal, it is in any way an excuse for the continuing misuse of these powerful and dangerous antibiotics, that were intended only to be used as a last resort.  Those doctors, drug companies and the FDA are completely reprehensible.  No one should ever be subjected to the nightmare created by these drugs or have months or even years of their live ripped away.

PLEASE VISIT THE QUINOLONE ANTIBIOTICS ADVERSE REACTION FORUM if you have been floxed or are considering using a Quinolone antibiotic.  Also, Dr. Todd Plumb's letter to your doctor is here

Those that remember me know that I got floxed on my birthday last year. I have documented every symptoms I felt, whether I had it for 1 day, 1 week or 1 month.

Re: Same Here!
Hi! For those of you at almost the 3 year mark, where do you rate yourself on a scale of 1-10. I'm about a 7-8, most days. -- shane southwood

Same Here!
Took Tequin in 2005, Levaquin in 2006... After nearly 3 years I'm almost healed. The meds helped me a lot, but as John said... I used them sparingly. I wish

Re: I am living proof...
I have these two inspirations taped to my computer to help me through these tough times. I hope it doesn't offend anyone, but it helps me. Keep My Mind
