Re: Using the eyes to Cultivate Jing

Hi Will,

Will you consider posting this with the formulas on my site? Great post! I
just want to comment on the notion that "shen is the brightness in the eyes". Of
course that is true but we will see that shen with our own eyes/shen. On a lower
level it's easy to see light in another's eyes and notice that they are happy
and creative. The real question is how much light is coming through when there
internal experience is clouded and they are under pressure indicating that they
are rooted in light? Beyond that the real light is one that consumes us. When
mind is really out of the way the "light coming through the eyes" is of another
order entirely. This is a light that "sees through us" and leads us to see
through ourselves. This is a light not of "the moon, the stars, and the sun" but
the unified source beyond those manifestations. It is the light of "the
creative" itself.
