Dr. Morris,
Thank you for your reply.
Let me write back to you my interpretation of what you wrote and I
ask for correction if I have it wrong.
I have a obviously "larger" pulse at the second position of both
wrists.
I palpate the Dai Mai and SP 21, HT 1, LV 14, and LU 1 (by the way,
2 of the 4 are definitely different for Worsley) and see which has
the more tender points.
Further, from the history I find out whether the patient is
suffering from structural and developmental disorders versus
nutrient distribution disorders (I'm not absolutely clear on a
nutrient distribution disorder, unless you mean specifically a need
for tonification of weak qi, weak blood, weak Spleen Organ and an
undernourished Heart that would benefit from Gui Pi Tang. You
mentioned that a SP/HT block is an indication for Gui Pi Tang
earlier.) I should also look at the tongue (obviously) and see what
that tells me as well to have a check and balance system (I could
also use abdominal diagnosis as well.)
Have I missed anything?
Sincerely,
Eric Waltemate D.C.
