divergent meridians all go to the heart and are benificial as treatment when
nothing else has proven to be effective; the divergents are also good for
emotional disorders and psychosomatic conditions. Often practitioners don't
believe in treating the heart directly because the qi may be too
overwhelming. As for the SJ? I could only guess. Anything goes, right?
Within reason of course, and special attention to the classics.
