Thank you Will for your precise answer. I learned to check it at the
umbilicus (under) and not above or below it, with 4 fingers. The
pulse should be centered and felt between my fingers. If the pulse
is felt by one finger more than the others it is considered deviated
toward the location of that finger, East, West, North, South (The
center being the Earth. If the ascending aorta is located
anatomically a little bit to the left (see Gray's anatomy), how can
the pulse be centered? Also, when it is not centered, I need to
massage it toward the center. What Am I massaging? Am I pushing the
Ascending Aorta to the center? Why does it deviate in one direction
or another? I also read that correcting Akabani's imbalances can
correct the UP.
Do you know if this technique has an origin in the Chinese texts or
is it Japanese??

Sorry for too many questions!! I searched the Web but could not find
answers. Is your book on Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis out yet?
