Will:

I have a patient I would like some guidance on.

47yo male : UB Constitution
Tongue: no coat, dull color : Surprisingly normal wit some yin def = dryness
pulse:
NS Tense: tight vibrating throughout
Digestive System : Right side weak
Patient informed me that he was Jewish and from NYNY after I explained the
relationship between NS and Digestive System.( I should have figured that
out first although it confirmed my diagnosis)

CC1:"valve of houston" which connects desc. and sigmoid colon
malfunctioning. Began 4 years ago with job transfer. Notices distending
sensation in lower left quadrant

CC2: 2 years ago ileocecal valve began same sensation although less
frequent.

CC3 : 3 lypomas approx 3x5 inches on lateral left costal region, right
costal region and on back. All circliing the "costal region" = Liv qi stag?

CC4 : syncope : will get "stand up fall down "syndrome when exercising or
getting up too fast from bed.

CC5 : Moles on face have surfaced : Chiros think it is liver toxicity

CC6 : Until age 14 exposed to 2nd hand smoke

He has had 2 colonics that relieved the pressure but it returned shortly
after and he does not want to become dependent on them. Every 6 months he
does a colonic followed by apple/olive/lemons then another colonic and he
passes major stones (small black).

His diet is pretty balanced however he is on a regiment where he basically
juices and can eat carbo fibre but no veggies raw or steamed.( why?)

He is also "dehydrated" and has upped his water to half his body weight in
ounces (Chiro advice)

He is pretty neurotic as you can tell. He reminds me of a 6 foot 5 inch
Woody Allen.

He has been to soooo many Chiro's who put him on all these regiments.
he has also been diagnosed with parasites although with no lab confirmation
which "cleared" with some formula he took from a chiro.

Diagnosis: NS overacting on Digestive?
Combine CNS tense w/Digestive formula. I am unsure which formula as there is
NS for skin muscle and organ.

TCM: liver qi stagnation with stag in lower jiao
TX: p6, sp6, ren 5, st25, shen men.
this totally rocked him and he felt like he had been in a 2 hour yoga class.

Herbs:
Digestive:
chao bai shao
chao bai zhu
tu ling
fu shuo or fu shen?
zhi ke
ji nei jin
gu ya
mai ya
bei mu
sha shen
Shen qu?

CNS tense:
jing jie
fang feng
xiang fu
chuan xiong
yuan zhi
yu jin
chao huang qin
yan hu suo
lu lu tong
qiang huo

My combo:
jing jie
fang feng
xiang fu
yuan zhi
yu jin
huang qin
yan hu suo
chao bai shao
chao bai zhu
tu ling
zhi ke
ji nei jin
gu ya
mai ya
Shen qu?

I was taught 12 herbs but...whatever.
What do yo think?
Looks like liv qi stag?
QUESTION:

How to delicately combine CNS with Digestive?

thanks, Kelly

... Kelly - this all appears to be liver qi stagnation with invasion of a weak spleen - this explains the pulses and symptoms to this point. I have often found...
