I've been seriously dating another gay male BP for 4 years now. It is
compounded by the fact that he lives 270 miles away. Currently, he lives
alone, as do I.

He has wanted to move in with me 4 different times. Each time it looked
serious, and then he'd back down. It's been a rollercoaster relationship.

He has all the classic BPD symptoms, but I sometimes wonder if he's also
NPD, because he tries to instigate abandonment ("It's coming. Better to get
it over with"). He hasn't said that, but that is what I sense.

Anyway, his eyes are disturbing. I haven't really read people's eyes
before, or atleast not very much.

A guy I dated in 1991 (who was either NPD or BPD) had evil eyes, the evil
eye. I could just tell. I chose to overlook that because I thought I was
in love with him. It, of course, ended badly and I eventually had to leave
him. I don't miss him.

My current beau, the one I am alluding to (who lives 270 miles away) has a
different eye reading. His eyes are blank: expressionless. They are the
eyes of a dead man. No emotion.

Actually, there are two readings to a person's eyes. One eye (I forget
whether it's the right or left) shows how one WISHES to seem to others. The
other eye shows how he IS, or what he feels at a deeper level. It is this
latter that I did the reading on.

So, to sum up, I get two reads on the guy:

HIS RIGHT EYE:  no emotions, dead, no one home; the eyes of a dead man;
void. I've taken 909 digital camera photos of him and this read is
constant.
HIS LEFT EYE: often a slight sadness; occasionally bored; if I'm flirting
with him, it's the look of anticipation as in "Ooooooh, what are you doing
to do to me!!!?!!!"

It's his right eye I'm more interested in, because that is the deepest
mirror of the soul.

I have heard him talk about his ex's and even his friends, and I've caught
him off guard talking about them with no more emotion or interest than I
would a 3-day-old newspaper. So I assume that's what he must think of me
too, deep down.

My question to the group; actually they are several. And I'm not sure many
of you can answer, but I need anything right now, any feedback would be
great!!!!!

1. Have you noticed this same deadness in your partner's eye? It's like no
one's home.

2. Does that mean that person doesn't have a soul?

3. If a person doesn't have a soul, does that mean he won't go to Heaven or
hell? Or what?

I'm looking into eyes more. I've noticed that most people's eye reads show
either boredom or sadness, usually just boredom and for most of the time.
Sometimes I see surprise and startlement in a person's eyes, but they are
momentary. Boredom usually is the most common read. But I do run across
this deadness I've alluded to, quite often, more so than you would think.
It is the look of a shark, a crocodile, or a dead human: not evil, not
good, not anything: just blank.

What do you make of this?

Again, there are two reads to your partner's eyes: one shows what he WANTS
to seem like; the other shows what he or she IS deep down.

Try a read on your partner's eyes. Personally, if I see that deadness (or
worse: evil) in a person's eye, it is now an automatic deal breaker.

I really need feedback on this. Please write me at SixFive175@... .
I won't bite.

BTW, I'm blind in my right eye and it strays, so my right eye will never
give an accurate read.
