I have experienced what I would consider a miracle too. I have had psoriasis on
my palms and the soles of my feet for 19 years (since I was 12). In December of
2003, I was diagnosed with PA. I had it in my lower back and right index finger.
My rhuematologist wanted to put me on methotrexate, but I decided to wait and
search for natural remedies. I became pregnant that same month and my PA got
much better during my pregnancy. When my baby was about 3 weeks old, the PA
came back in full force. It seemed like I was getting worse day by day. My back
was so severe I could barely bend over. My shoulder, wrists, and knees started
to hurt. And two of my finger nails were separating from the skin. My
sister-in-law got me interested in a radio program from Dr. Bob Marshall in
California. I ordered several of his products in October of 2004. Within just
one week I felt 50 percent better. This winter was the first winter in 19 years
that I did not get cracks on my feet. My fingernails
are still deformed, but they are no longer separated from the skin. I
occasional (a couple times a month) have slight pain in my lower back, but the
rest of my joints feel great. I would say I am 95 percent better and I have much
more energy.

After 15 years of the whole gamut of NSAIDS for bizzarre, painful
and draining arthitic conditions, and the whole range of topical
corticosteroids and UVB for psoriasis, i found a pair of docs in
Wash DC (one a rhuematologist and one a dermatologist) who
collaborate , and they put me on MTX to get my conditions under
control, and then Enbrel for longer term maintenance. I ramped up
from 5 mg/wk of MTX to about 25 mg/week over a few months, held at
25 for a while until the symptoms disappeared, then started with
ENBREL while I ramped my MTX down to 5 mg/wk for long term
maintenance. WHen HUMIRA came out i switched, since it only
requires injections twice a month, instead of twice a week with
ENBREL. BIG DIFFERENCE.

With the exception of a recent, minor 'mini flare up' of skin
patches on my lower legs (traditional place) and a few new places
(above and inside my ears, and below my eye), which i'm treating
with topicals temporarily (hoping not to increase the HUMIRA or MTX
system-wide approach), i've been in great shape for a few years.

Anybody else have a miracle like this to share ???
