I noticed a HUGE improvement with my fatigue shortly after a started
taking the Enbrel. I remember one Saturday morning/afternoon a few
weeks after I started taking it, being able to run more than one
errand and not having to go home to rest. I still have pain
everyday, but that is because I haven't had quite the response I
should be getting the Methotrexate. None-the-less...I am sure you
will see great improvements with the addition of the Enbrel to your
regimine. My Dr. believes in dual therapy, thus I am on both Metho
and Enbrel. Where one may lack, the other could pick up. I agree
and think dual therapy is worth it!
The other thing you may want to think about is whether to take the
25mg injections twice per week OR the 50mg injections once per
week. They just recently started offering the latter. This is what
I know about the two.
I take the 25mg inj and do pretty well. I CANNOT take them in the
morning...I get very dizzy when I do that. But for some reason,
when I take them in the evening I do fine. Once in awhile, I get a
dizzy spell but it only lasts a few minutes or so. Not a big deal.
I will take the occasional dizzy spell for ENERGY! :-)
I have heard the 50mg inj hurt more when they are administered...a
lot more. That is about all I have heard. I am not clear as to why
it would hurt more, but that is what people have said.
Hope this helps!
