Dear Healers,

I wanted to say THANK YOU to all the people who wrote to me publicly and privately. All the notes were immensely helpful. I reposted my original post below, but to summarize, I had a strange physical reaction after a healing this past June. Since that healing, I have had many other physical reactions after other healings, diarrhea, vomiting, intense fevers, bodily pain, deafness, headaches, and once, I was paralyzed for two hours and could not move, after working with a 9 year old boy, and more that I can't think of right now. My clients reported much of the same, and also, insomnia that lasted for two weeks, nightmares, loss of appetite, feelings of depersonalization and later, across the board, feeling much more connected to themselves, their heads were clearer, they felt that they were in touch with themselves again and felt they were not being controlled by anyone or anything. So, in their perceptions, their healing cleared their curses.

Since that healing in June, I've had a steady stream of people coming to see me who said they had curses put on them, and they have been referring others to me as well, and I've even had a Sanitaria priestess come and ask me to "clean" (this seems to be the euphemism that people have been using) her, which was weird, because she was the one who had "put the curses" on some of the others who came to see me. I have been hyper aware of what is happening during the healing process and a bit on edge, based on some of the email warnings from others.

After a lot of reflection, I think that this first healing was a "wake up" call for me, and what happened is that I began to really focus, intently on what was happening during the healings. A lot of people wrote to be about entities and attachments, and I think that a lot of that is true, however, so far, I have not really had a lot of awareness of entities and haven't had to "speak to them" or persuade them to leave a person, or anything like that. I'm open to that happening, but so far, that has not been my reality. I asked for guidance (a lot) to help me understand what happened to me, and I'm sharing that with you now.

It has been really important for me to stay very grounded, and in hara and core star and I have very vigilant in this, much more so than usual.

A common denominator seems to be pain that "moves around", and this is not confined to people who believe they have been cursed, because apparently, it's not that uncommon. I did not know that, but have spent a lot of time questioning people about their pain.

When someone has pain, I tend to do chelation, spine cleaning, chakra restructuring and working with cords. With so many people coming to me saying they are in pain because someone put a curse on them, I've had a lot of time to study what is happening in their body and in their fields and I've spent most of this summer really focusing on what has been happening during the healings.

One thing that happened was a new (for me) HSP sense opened up. The sense of smell. Mainly, pungent, toxic, awful smells. I also notice that I use the basic healing science skill of "push and pull" a lot, and have found that sometimes, the cords are sunk into what looks like a rotting abscess, and the smells have been so horrible that I can barely stand to smell them. I know we learn clearing clouds and mucus, that has been part of what I've done, but it's also toxic sludge, and to me, the worst seems to be this stuff that looks like soup. Toxic, foul smelling liquid that is nearly impossible (for me) to work with. It's like the flesh has necrophied. I know that these cords are probably attached to all sorts of people, entities, or whatever, but I haven't really focused on what is at the "other end" of the cords, because I've been so drawn in (by these horrible smells) to what is happening inside their physical bodies. I have asked for guidance (often!) about this, and so far, this seems to be okay, to keep working on the person, rather than focus on the person or persons who are "attached".

I think that the "push and pull" technique was what initially caused me to have such a violent reaction, and I've been much more aware of not taking on any of that energy, but sometimes, no matter what, either I, or the client, or both, have physical reactions. Maybe this will change but my experience now is what it is.

So, I'm not sure if this will help anyone, but for me, so far, it has been an interesting summer, and again, I'm eternally grateful for having so many sources for support.

Dear Healers,

I need some help! This happened to me this past Sunday. S, a regular client
who refers people to me all the time called me last week to ask if she could
bring M, a lady from Guatemala for a healing. I made the appt. for Sunday at
10. I didn't ask what her problem was because at the time I was in a hurry.
Most people who see me have a medical or some sort of physical problem, and/or
an emotional problem and I didn't really think anything about it. All the
other people S referred to me were fine.

They arrive. M doesn't speak any English, so my clients translates. I go in
the back and suddenly, I'm coughing so much that I think I'm going to die. I
finally got a hold of myself and return to the front, where they are both
looking at me. Sheila is a nurse and she said that when they started the intake
form section about her symptoms, I started coughing and didn't stop until they
had finished that part.

I had been coughing at school so didn't think a whole lot about this
episode.

I ask what is M's problem. Eight months ago, she ate a prepared sandwich
from Winn Dixie and after she ate it, that night, she had horrible pain in her
stomach. Fast forward to today. She has Medicaid so she has had every test
imaginable. All her tests come back normal, there is no explanation for her
pain.

NOW, the strange part. The "pain", is a ball, a "bolus" that moves around
her body. Sometimes it's in her stomach, sometimes in her head, sometimes in
her back, on her "flank" in between her ribs, and on the day of her healing, it
was in her throat. It has gotten so bad at this point that she is ready to
go back to Guatemala and see a traditional healer who works with herbs.

I'm trying to keep my face expressionless, but inside I'm thinking, what the
f**k am I going to do now?

S leaves, and M and I go into my healing room. We have no way of verbally
communicating, so I point and she gets on the table. I did my energy readings of
her field, her heart was open (she's married with 4 young children),
everything above her heart was still, and the rest of her chakras were not
functioning very well.

I put my hands on her feet and asked for guidance. M closed her eyes and
didn't open them again until I told her we were done, an hour later. At her
feet, I was thinking, I have NO idea what is going on here, I have no frame of
reference for what this woman is experiencing, and I remember trying to imagine
what it must be like to have pain that moves around in her body. I asked
that whatever she needed, she get and started a chelation.

At her throat, I did a lot of clearing on levels 2 and 4 (good that we had
SO much practice with this the during our intensive and ASED class.....). I
restructured her 5th chakra, cleared some cords and was ready to close the
healing, just hoping for the best, and I started choking again, just like before.
I had to leave the room for a few minutes. I came back and felt, sort of
grimly, that I probably should do some more work.... I basically repeated
everything, and there was so much gunk that seemed to appear. M didn't say a word,
and I was touching her throat the whole time. I even moved her head back so I
could have her neck tilted up a bit.

I did the temples, 6th and 7th, again, hoping that I didn't have a repeat
performance with the coughing fit. I didn't. S came back in the house and I
asked her to ask M if she had any questions about what had just happened or her
healing. She didn't, and they left.

I smudged the room with white sage (setting off my smoke alarms) ripped off
those sheets and put them straight in the washer. I was feeling very strange
at this point.

A half hour later, I felt nauseous and then, suddenly, I vomited this black
tar out of my body. It was SO horrible to see it. After it came out, a lot of
clear liquid came out. I wasn't scared, more like in a state of shock.

The rest of the day, I was shaking, like trembling. I went jogging, to the
gym, out in the sun, took a dead sea salt bath, a nap, drank water, but I still
had this tremor.

They made a follow up appointment for two weeks, and I should probably call
S and ask her how M is doing, but I haven't yet.

I have NEVER had ANYTHING like this happen to me before. EVER. And
personally, I don't think I ever want a repeat performance either.

Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone ever experienced this before? I've
had a healing practice almost full time for more than ten years and nothing
like this has ever happened to me before. Not even remotely.

Last year, many of you participated in the Distance Goddess Healing project. For those of you who did not hear about it, a group of about 4000 healers, world wide, "sent in" 15 minutes of healing, in whatever form they wished, at whatever time they wished, into a "template of healing". Then, everyone received a healing at the same time by tuning into the template. The template is still there, it's outside of time and space, so if you want to try it, please do. I use it frequently and can attest that it an incredible resource of healing knowledge. A special flower essence was created by Green Hope Farms for this project to support healers, called Hesperides’ Gift. Barbara Brennan did a second healing on the group during the school week (Barbara Brennan School of Healing) in April last year during the regularly scheduled event called the Goddess Healing.

During that healing, I had an incredible download of information. I only told a few people about it, and even those handful of people, didn't hear most of the information because to me, I felt the project was outside of my capabilities to accomplish.

During the Goddess Healing, I was invited to do a project. I said that I didn't think I could, but the voice continued and said, in order to accomplish what was being requested, that I would need to build a website for healers first. Then, everything came as a checklist, the name, the components, the layout, the functions of the site, the time of "birth". Everything, it was as if someone had turned on a faucet and the flow of information just came. It’s really not something that you can ignore when you are in that sort of flow.

During that class week, Peter, a first year student at the time, came up and introduced himself to me and said he wanted to help me build a website. Totally Out of the Blue. I decided to follow the guidance even though thought I was being ridiculous and foolish, many days. I gave up my "attachment" to the outcome and just focused on building the site. If it's meant to be, then it will flourish. The guidance showed me that in three years, there would be a network of over 3000 healers on the site, and that it would be a resource of knowledge in our field. If it doesn't work out that way, so what, at least I learned how to build a website.

So, Peter and I have been working on this site, with his amazing team of programmers and it's taken over a year. Mainly because of the learning curve on MY end, not his.

Right now, you can join the site and create a Member Profile, and after that, you can upload articles you've written, case studies, products, events, classes and pictures. We are now in the process of submitting the site to Google this week. All members will be listed individually, so that if someone does a search online for your name, your profile will come up.

Even though this site has been under construction for this whole time, people have found it and I've personally received five clients, all from far flung places, and many more emails asking questions. One of my goals for this site is to build a "Healing Library" so that when you get a new client, you can see what your colleagues have posted on the topic. Visitors to the site will
also be able to view this area, so if you post an article or paper that you've written, you will probably receive emails from potential clients, or from other healers who may request your supervision on a case.

The goal of this site is to create a forum for Professional Healers to share what we are learning in our daily practices. A secondary goal is to help healers define and refine what it is that they do.

If you really want to build a practice, you need to be able to market yourself, and to communicate what you can and can't do. And "balancing your field" won't cut it for most people. They want to know if you can help them with their back pain, work with their ear infection, depression or cancer; help their child who can't read; or their mother who has memory and concentration problems, etc., and they don't really care how it is that you do it. Some do, but most just want help with their problems and are desperate enough, and disillusioned with the treatments they've already tried that they will at least give you a try. If it works, they may turn to you for help in other areas, and refer you to their friends and family, and even then, they don't really care how it is
your doing what you do. At least, this has been my personal experiences lately.

So, during the sign up process, Members are asked to select their areas of specialty. Visitors to the site can use the database to request a referral for a healer who specializes in whatever it is they need help with. The may want some one who is geographically close, but what I am finding is that people who are in pain and desperate, will contact you no matter where they are located if they like the way you present yourself and they think there is any possibility that you may be able to help them.

The site will be a subscription site, so it does cost a nominal fee to join. This fee covers the website development costs, the server costs, the fees to promote and advertise the site. It will be a "sponsored ad by Google" within the next two weeks or so. There are two fees, $99 a year for regular members and $49 for students. It's for all healers so the mixture of professionals will eventually be quite diverse.

So, please have a look at it. Any feedback is welcome.

Hi Leigh, yes, I think it's a good idea to prepare for all sorts of possibilities. Here in Florida, we are now supposed to have a 7 day supply of food, water, batteries and medicine for hurricane season. Having had two bad years, with 8 hurricanes and several weeks (total) without power, I had a lot of time to think about what life would be like without some things we take for granted. So, this letter didn't seem too far out for me.

As far as the fear factor that some people felt in the letter, you know what? History usually repeats itself, and you don't have to go very far back to find epidemics and/or "plagues" that killed massive amounts of people. So, it's not a matter of "if", it's more a matter of "when". Now, whether or not any of the Flower Essences would help in a critical situation, I have no clue, but some of the other things in her letter were things I had never thought of. For example, if there was some sort of epidemic, just hypothetical, not even bird flu, how would I feel if a member of my family had it? I never in my life thought about having a "quarantine" room, or what that might mean to me or how to set something like that up. I hope that I never have to really consider options in that direction, but it's something to think about.

Everyone wants to be able to change their lives in some way: to heal something, to move forward on a project, to initiate a discipline like an exercise program, to change a personal habit, to find a romantic partner, to get divorced and begin a new life, to lose weight, to get to their “highest potential”, to finish unfinished business, to develop their intuition, to understand their Sacred Contract.

Every one has a next step, and everyone – absolutely everyone – has trouble accomplishing these goals. I’ve worked with people for over twenty years and I am very familiar with all the reasons and excuses we give ourselves for not moving forward.

Not moving forward is extremely painful for everyone and not just because you’re frustrated with yourself. The desire you have to change a habit or begin a new life comes from the soul, not just from a reservoir of frustration that accumulates over months or years of coping with the same dysfunctional patterns of self-sabotage.

In response to this very real challenge that faces so many people, I’ve created this workshop as a “wisdom resource” that will be of great help to every one who takes this workshop for the rest of their lives.

I have always developed my material to emphasize practical instruction combined with inspiration because for me, that is the combination that generates the most effective and empowering life alchemy.

With that in mind, the following topics will be explored in depth, all of which combined equal a tool box of essential life wisdom:

1: Humbleness versus the fear of being Humiliated: Most people are controlled their entire lives by the fear of being humiliated and that fear alone holds them back from moving forward in their lives. At the same time, few understand the liberation that accompanies what it means to be humble in this world. How do you get over the paralyzing fear of being humiliating and always worrying about “what others are going to say?” That’s up for discussion in this workshop.

2. Theory, Fact or Fiction? Which category fits your life and your dreams? A discussion of the qualities of people who have managed to make their life plans happen versus those who continue to live in fiction, fantasy and theory. Plus I'll give a check list of items to help you identify which category fits your habits and profile the most: Are you living a life of “theory”: “I intend to do this or that AS SOON AS…….” Or a life of “fiction”: “Someday I would really like to………” but IN FACT what you are really doing and probably know you will never really change is ---
This segment of the workshop is a real eye-opener, to say the least.

3. Understanding the four stages of conscious growth and where you are stuck: Revolution-Involution-Narcissism-Evolution. It’s been my observation that the pattern of significant change, whether cosmic or personal, follows those four stages, which I will go into in great detail. You can’t avoid experiencing these stages even when you are going through shifts in relationships, much less major life changes, or even entering into the spiritual crisis of the dark night of the soul.

These four stages represent an archetypal journey. Most people get stuck in the one of these stages. I’ll go into a description of each pattern with strategies of how to move forward.

4. Are you suffering from “Guidance Overload”? Guidance Overload is a very real psychic condition that comes from asking for help from too many people but never acting on any of the information that you have poured into your psychic field. This segment of the workshop involves a discussion of the symptoms and remedies for having too much guidance working on your psychic field.

5. The call to Mystical Service – the new archetype at work in the world: I will close with this most important segment that delves into the “mystical renaissance” going on in our world today. Many people are being “called” into “mystical service” in this world, but because they are unfamiliar with the nature of mysticism and dialoging with their soul, they are unable to de-code the guidance that is stirring in their interior.

This segment will include defining mysticism, discussing the classics mystics such as Francis of Assisi, Teresa of Avila, and John of the Cross (among others), in order to understand the characteristics of what makes someone a mystic.

In brief, a mystic is a person called by God to change the world through the power of their souls, working in intimate union with the Divine. This classic archetype of the mystic is being revisited or revised for our contemporary spiritual community because the world is now the monastery and many are being called into “mystical service”.

These individuals need to; 1) recognize that they are being “called”, 2) learn to build a soul with stamina, a soul able to channel grace and heal through prayer, individually and at a distance and 3) to change the world in silence, invisibly through the power of their souls.

This special workshop will close with a healing session in which the group will channel grace to those in need of healing, to our planet, and finally, to our personal needs.

I do hope you will join me for this intensive, and it will be intensive, workshop. Each of these segments has been scripted to be a life transforming skill unto itself.

My deep belief is that we have spent enough time on our healing. We need to become active channels of grace in this world because that is what this age of spiritual transformation was intended to initiate.

It’s time to consider that you may well be a “mystic without a monastery” being called into mystical service in a world in need of channels for grace and healing, which is the highest potential of a soul with genuine stamina.
