World Premiere .... sounds fancy and important, doesn't it? Made you look ;)
In Truth, it *is* a world premiere. I'm reading some poetry I've never read before in a public venue. And I am dancing my own choreography to my own recorded poem as well (because you know me you're getting the "scoop" - otherwise, to regular attendees, we're working it as a bit of surprise that dance is happening.....) I'm honored to be a part of a group show, "John Holly and Friends". Read on below for more information. Just for some reason, if we make it sound so high falutin', sometimes people read more .... nothing like a little playfulness to meet our days, right? |

Enjoy great art, meet wonderful people, let your heart and soul be opened and moved! I'm honored to have been asked to be a part of this show! The official opening is Saturday night (the gallery will be open all day as part of the "In The Streets" Festival in Frederick.) John Holly is a gifted artist who knows *many* other gifted artists. I'm but one in a slew of people, I am humbled and blessed to be a part of such a wonderful show! On Sunday, it's a veritable live art smorgasbord. There will be poetry, my dance, live music. There will be a variety of art work. I'm showing some photography. There will be other photography, painting, mixed media, etc. You don't want to miss this show .....
