Hi to all,

My bacterial meningitis was 3 years ago April. The headaches have
been bad since then until my doctor tried me on Lexapro. I still had
some headaches but they were much more tolearble. Lexapro is an
antidepressant and is also used for anxiety. He had tried other drugs,
but nothing helped.
It is very expensive, and there is no generic out there yet. My
insurance providor bulked at the price, so I am trying another drug. It
is back to the headaches. My doctor will fight the insurance and
I am looking forward to being on the Lexapro - 10mg a day. It is not
that I am depressed, but my brain must be!
Maybe someone else can be helped by Lexapro. Each person and case is
different, and I am happy to have a doctor that cares and seeks the
best for me. That is such a blessing!
