Thanks so much for sharing your info. I have also tried cranial sacral but it acutally makes my head pain increase. I've tried it three different times over the years and each time it makes it worse. I am really happy for you that it resolved your head pain. I only wish I could have had the same result. It will be four years for me next week.
Maybe you could find out exactly what kind of treatment you had. I don't know if there are different ways of doing it but it could be interesting to know if there is a specific technique that your therapist used.
I will say that it my condition has improved recently so I am stil hopeful.
Thanks again,
Laura

Subject: [PostmeningitisHeadache] Cranial Sacral Therapy
I was diagnosed with viral meningitis in September 2007. Since my
diagnosis I have been struggling with chronic headaches. I went to my
Neurologist and was put on Topomax and had no relief, I also tried the
chiropractor and acupuncture with no success in alleviating the pain.
I have a friend who suggested Cranial Sacral Therapy. I thought it was
a little far fetched but you get to a point where you're so desperate
you will try anything right? So I went. I have been to CST four times
now and I have been headache free for over three weeks!
I'm not sure if it will work for everyone, but I just wanted to pass on
something that seems to have worked for me.
