So..I had surgery last week for a possible cerebral spinal fluid leak
and they found no hole. My last positive LP was in early September.
At this point I think I might still get meningitis again but in the
mean time have the following post meningitis symptoms:
1. headaches, never more then a 3-5 in strength but
endless cross eyed, can't get work done pain.
2. a tremor in my left hand. It comes and goes, haven't figured out a
pattern.
3. Crying/emotional.. it's doesn't feel like anxiety but its hard for
me not to cry sometimes. Not sure if its because I'm so frustrated by
this no-man's land or because its an actual set back from meningitis.
My doc actually thinks it might be a form of "brain damage" from the
meningitis, it always coincides with the hand shaking.


The earlier neurological deficits I had when I had active have mainly
cleared up.

Its hard to focus on the mindful lifestyle with the current economy. I
had to quit my job when I got sick. But that's my goal. More
relaxation... stabilize the money...etc..
