This list is for those who have PTSD as the result of an abusive childhood, childhood sexual abuse, having lived in an abusive and/or dysfunctional home growing up.

PTSD affects countless numbers of people. It can manifest in many ways and severely affect the quailty of the lives of its suffers. This list is a place to share and talk about the effects of PTSD in your life.

While it is natural to also have general conversations it is appreciated if you try to keep your posts to the list as relevant to the issues of PTSD as possible.

This list is not for those who have PTSD due to military service. For those specific issues please search for a list that focuses specifically on those issues. An attempt to mix the two PTSD populations was not successful on this list in the past.
