Phoenix Brain Injury: Support and Information!

Welcome to Phoenix Brain Injury Support and Information. We are a Community of Friends made up of those we know, and those friends *like you* that we have yet to meet. We are not just a brain injury mailing list.

We are a brand new cyber-community in the Phoenix Arizona Metropolitan area for individuals touched by Brain Injury/TBI. Whether you are newly diagnosed or long term, this is a place for both Survivors and Caregivers new and old to seek out information and support - as well as reach out to each other to offer support and encouragement.

This is a Safe Place to learn, to laugh, to vent...no one is judged. Here, you can get to know others; know that you/we are not alone; that there *are others* here who DO understand what you are going through.

The reason I am here is because in September 2003 I was stopped in freeway traffic while driving home from work. My vehicle was struck at speed from behind by a driver who appeared to have fallen asleep. I am considered "a survivor", while my spouse might be considered a "caregiver".

This is both a place to learn as well as a place to share our joys, accomplishments and sorrows. We ARE friends here.
