Hi Debra,
I too had a severe sprain dancing , and couldnt figure out why it took so long to heal, then came the coldness of the lower leg and severe pain that turned out to be rsd( reflex sympathetic dystrophy), then last year I had a very weird autoimmune disease that ocurred with it peripheral neuropathy. This group helps me to know I am not alone with . I was just diagnosed in April that it is PN form a hypothyroid ( metabolic peripheral neuropathy) Have not had an EMG yet. Not looking forward to it but I have to buck up and bite the bullet sometime . I just can't imagine having to stop my meds though. I have heard some people say they didnt have to stop their meds. Very nice to meet you Debra, Jan S.

Hi everyone,
I am new to the group and wanted to extend a Hello to everyone! My
name is Debra.
I was diagnosed with Neuropathy several years ago. My husband and I
were competition dancers at the time. I started feeling very bad and
finally one night he turned me out into a "free turn" and I fell
down. We had been trying for months before that to figure out what
the issue was with no luck. After this happened, we were finally
pointed in the right direction.
I am glad I found this group and I'm looking forward to getting to
know you all better!
