WHAT KIND OF PN IS THIS? (Mine)   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #84 of 6200 |
When I wake up in the morning it's almost non-existent. As the day
progresses, it gets worse and worse. The next day the cycle repeats.

It's symetrical in BOTH feet.

Any ideas? I'm stumped and so are MD's. NOT A DIABETIC! Spine &
disks OK. EMG shows some nerve problem from sciatica in right leg
last year which does NOT account for BOTH feet.

EMG doc suggests vitamin B6 toxicity. Have been taking in excess of
200 mg for quite a while. I didn't know it can CAUSE PN but it can.
I've totally ceased B-6 but I read it might take 6-8 weeks or LONGER
for condition to begin to reverse.

The damage can be permanent but I hope mine isn't. I've only had
this PN since around February of 2003.
