My oldest son is graduating high school in a few weeks, & I'm so scared that I will be either spaced out that I won't remember the ceremony or I'll be clear minded & either using a walker or being pushed in a wheelchair.I don't want to embarrass him. We are unable to send him to college ,but he is going on full scholarships. He has accomplished so much. Like honor roll, honor classes, District President in North Texas of F.F.A. (Future Farmers of America). He was even in the Dallas Morning News. He will Major in Criminal Justice @ Sam Houston State University. I'm SO PROUD of him. I know this has nothing to do with PN, but sometimes it helps to think about something else. I have my hopes up, but I don't think the Lyrica is my magical cure, but maybe it will be for many others. By the way, my husband just brought in the mail & my sons graduation invitation was there. He hasn't been able to live with us since 2002 because of my
illness. I must go now because its tough for me to type while crying.
well Tawny is close, but my name is Terri. I honostly feel your pain. Neurontin made me a 'space cadet'. I just started Lryica this week. Just one problem, my husband takes my meds & hides them, telling me I am abusung them.I don't do that to his precious Beer. asout silvestro <silbear@...> wrote:
Hi Tawny, I have many health issues too and yes you get to a point where its "OK so I don't even care what anything is called just give me relief so I can go on with my kk life." So many tests and drs appts....ENOUGH ALREADY....UHG Well anyway, I just found out
recently also that I have PN and have found great relief from lyrica. Had been on neurontin for approx10 yrs on and off. Got tremendous relief from it but was a world class space cadet and I am now seeing movies, reading books, having conversations and for the first time feeling "my" normal again. PHEW!! Got my memory back. many people don't have the memory prob. Hope you find the right dose for you. If your pain remains call the doc back and stay on his back until you get relief. Hi everyone,
I am looking for a place for information and support. I have many health issues, but one is peripheral Neruopathy, and it's so new to me. I also have rhematoid arthritis, lupus, sjogren's, neurofibromatosis(tumors on the nerves.) I have problems with my left
leg. I have been to so many doctor appointments and tests, I'm so tired of it. I have had three MRI's, that recently showed 3 herniated discs in my neck. I haven't got the results in my lower back yet. I have also had the EMG test. My doctor just started me on Neurontin 300Mg, at 2X a day. I can tell it helps a little, but still having problems with my leg. Thanks for listening, and I hope to get to know you all, Tawny
