Congratulations on finding our what is causing your PM. Haven't heard of your symptoms before. I'm so happy for you and hope that you continue to feel better.
I'm fortunate that I don't have sever problems except for feet. Wearing of shoes can sometimes be a BIG problem. I've discover that my pains come in cycles. Last two days, I've been able to wear shoes and not have pain or discomfort to the point of taking them off.
Thanks for responding. Keep up the good work.

It's a combination of celiac sprue and "hypermobility syndrome". What the hypermobility syndrome is due to is still questionable - I need to have genetic testing, which will take place later this year. The spots where the PN is the worst (right hand, left foot, left leg) all correspond to areas that have frequent subluxations, and occasional dislocations. It wasn't until I started having the subluxations in February that things started to fall in place. Apparently damage can occur before joints start to pop out on their own because there can be movement that someone isn't even aware of because it's so subtle, even though nerve roots are being annoyed.I'm taking 1600 mg of Neurontin and it's helping alot more than the 900 mg did. I don't have the pins and needles, but occasionally I still get the like electric shots, usually after some joint has moved out of place.Pam
