You are right, it's hard to find a doctor that spends time with you trying to resolve your problems. I had such a rough time getting PN diagnosed. Medication problems too with the first drug given, dilantin and Zoloft. It took all summer before I had relief. It's too bad they don't have a machine they can hook up to you and the Dr. and let them feel all the aches, pains, etc.
I'm do much better now but these little things that are happening just make me wonder what else might be going on? Will go back to the neurologist in the near future. Regular Dr. I asked about the drooped eyelid, and he said the usually, it comes with AGE, skin looses its elasticity. Well, I'm approaching 70 and he may be right, but with NP might it not be something else?????
Anyway, thank you for responsing. I feel that maybe someone will comeup with similar symptoms and maybe their Dr. will find a cause. I know I'm not diabetic, don't have rheumatoid arthritis or hepatitis C. Had a CT SCAN and an EMG. So, I guess I'm fortunate since my family history had about everything there is to have.
Nice talking with you. Do keep in touch. Hope you continue feeling good.

I know this is not found a lot today..
