Having problems with message search?
I have both the amyotrophy and neuropathy..I got sick in June 2000..drove myself to the ER originally..ended up back there twice in a week..
..I was first diagnosed with herniated disk and treated for it..I was told to do nothing..then they gave me a new diagnosis..but I still could not drive..when my hubby passed away last Dec 20 I had only driven in our complex about 5 times..I did have a brand new Chevy Impala..it drives like a dream..I say the car drives..I just hang on..now I mostly drive on week-ends..I do not go far..but I can get to the cemetery..CVS..church..grocery store..Walgreens..Wal-Mart and the post office..I just have to plan things good..
I am gradually getting better..but they say you never get over this..the night before my hubby died he was driving and stopped way back from the lights..I finally said what is wrong and he said he could not feel his foot..he passed within 24 hours..he will be gone for a year one month from today..I am afraid all I am going to do is cry..his was related to Agent Orange..
..the driving scared me for a while and I almosat quit..but..I really watch what I do..it is so hard to depend on others..
