hi lynda, i understand exactly what you mean. my neurologist has reported me to the dmv as not safe to drive. i am only 52 so losing thsi kind of independence is difficult. but the thought of possibly hurting someone makes me understand the need.
its a very strange feeling , HA HA, not feeling your feet. sorry sometimes i just have to laugh at the absurdity of it all. i had an EMG about a year ago. i kept waiting for the test to start, i knew it could hurt so i was prepared. i never felt anything. not good.
i'm not sure what to say except i know exactly what you are saying. ask your neurologist if he thinks you are safe to drive. but if you don't feel safe , you probably are not.
is anyone else hqving this symptom?> and if so how are you dealing with it?
take care, julianne

Has anyone had the experience of having your neuropathy interfere with
your driving -- like not feeling secure with the pedals, not sure of
placement of your feet? I think I have to discontinue driving because
of this. It's gotten worse in the last week.
