hello, has your husband been to a neurologist? i have the same thing with my feet and hands. i also do not have diabetes. my neurologist calls it idiopathic neuropathy; which means they have no idea why in my case the sensory nerves are dying. i know, big help. there are some
good drugs out now that can help. i also recommend the 3 books written by john sennoff who writes about this condition in easy to read and understand language. and since he also suffers from it he truly does understand. i wish you and your husband well. julianne

My husband has been having problems with his hands and feet for the
last two years. He was diagnosed with c5-c6 degenerative disc disease,
But that doesnt account for the pain he has in his knees to his feet
now after two years both arms are affected and both feet are numb and
his numbness goes up the left leg to his bum.
Hes barely walking now a days, he has been to MRI, twice for the neck
spine and brain, the results only show his c5-c6 disease and a touch of
arthritis in the spine, but this doesnt account for the pain in his
legs so the doctors tell him.
All blood test aanyone else have this same problems. re perfect they
suspect diabetis, but his sugar is good so that cancels that cause out
too,
