I'm sure many of us have run across a similar problem. My insurance won't pay
for all of the pain meds I need. In conjunction with Gabapentin I need 3
Darvocet daily, or I end up in pain that evening. My insurance will only pay for
60 Darvocet a month. Do the math and it's 90 a month or 93 a month that I need.
*sigh*

Now we're literally too broke (since I can't work) to pay for the Darvocet when
the part of the prescription that the insurance pays for runs out.

I did find some Tramadol that I was prescribed after surgery last year, and I
checked with the pharmacist to see if it was safe to take with my other meds.
Luckily, it is.

I haven't tried the Tramadol in combination with Gabapentin yet. I started it
this morning and we'll see how I do this evening. I'm trying to think positive
that it will work.

Guess I just needed to blow off a bit of steam. Sorry that there wasn't much
point to this post, but thanks for reading it.
