Hi Sunny, First of all the books that are great
reading about our neuropathy problems are Numb Toes
and Aching Soles: Coping with Peripheral
Neuropathy--Numb Toes and Other Woes: More on
Peripheral Neuropathy and Nutrients for Neuropathy.
It was difficult for me to concentrate and understand
the last one. The middle one I have really enjoyed
and have not read the last one.
Sunny, Christy said you wrote to the other group and
that you are diabetic now. I am so sorry to hear
that. My sister has diabetic neuropathy but so
different than mine. She has no pain but her feet and
hands are like ice and no feeling. This might sound
good but she has to watch carefully not to get sores
especially on her feet. I wish you the best of luck
in dealing with yet another disease.
Your idea is good to set up a topic discussion
to get more interested. I had not read your email yet
and suggested a similar thing to Christy. For
starters, how about just introducing ourselves, our
problems, when they began and what at this time we are
doing to survive them. Then we will have to go from
there but someone else might have a good idea and can
jump in here. For now, Lois
