Hi Sunny!
I just read your message. I don't know if this is any help to
anyone. I was taking just 900mg of Neurontin a day. The pain from the
neuropathy was so bad, that instead of increasing the dosage of my
pain meds, the doctor increased the Neurontin to 1800mg/day. I take
it 600mg 3x/day. When I took the increase at first, I was at Walmart
with my boyfriend's Mom. I turned to look at her and I "whited" out
for just a split second. Then I got real dizzy. That only lasted a
second or two, but was scary. I thought I was going blind or
something. Anyway, I'm still taking the 1800mg/day and I too stay
awake all nite and sleep during the day. I still get my 8hrs,
although some days I can sleep up to 12hrs. My boyfriend, who's been
with me from the day I was diagnosed with diabetes STILL doesn't get
it. He says I'm up all night because I'm on the computer. I tell him
I'm on the computer because I'm up all night. Does anyone else have
this problem with friends/family? It seems no one wants to learn
anything about my Neuropathy, but they sure can judge me for it
sometimes. Thanks for any answer (or complaining haha) you can give
me.
