Sunny, I am sorry I have not written but my husbands
brother had a stroke and has pneumonia. Anyway, I
have tried various ways with the neurontin as I find I
really need it but it also makes me sleepy unless I am
out doing things with friends etc. The Dr. has me on
2400mg a day divided into 800mg at a time. I
gradually worked upto that and it works but I do not
take my first pill until the middle of the afternoon
usually, then one about 9 and at 11PM. Then I sleep
really well. I am on Fiorinal with codeine and take
it on a regular basis about every five to six hours as
they say do not let the pain get bad before you take
your pain meds whatever they might be. This is the
only pain med that does not give me ulcers. It is
really a try and see with the neurontin but think I
have finally came up with the answer. I also use
lidoderm patches when the pain is worse on the bottom
of my feet. I cut one in half and do it that way.
Need good ins. though as all of this medicine would
cost too much. Catch you later. Lois

Lois, How is your brother-in-law doing? I hope he is getting better. Taking Neurontin like you do might be worth a try for me. I am dragging and bummed out...
