How many mg a day are you taking? How do you divide up the dosages?

I looked up Neurontin on the net. Found a very informative site. The
manufacturer recommends dividing it equally between 4-5 doses a day.
The information given there said to take the drug with protein.

I have such a time getting 4 doses in a day. Seems the noon one goes
by the wayside so often. I'm also having a problem with wanting to
sleep all morning and stay awake all night. My dad said I hadn't
outgrown that from infancy to now. I take 300mg in the morning 300mg
at noon, 600 at dinner time, and 500 at bedtime.

Has anyone noticed headaches? Seems I am having a dull ache
continuously.

I have had episodes that my MD said was seizures and my Neurologist
said was not. Consisted of jerking of hand arm and head. Usually on
right side. It had been a while since I had one of those until this
last week. I reached over my head to the shelf on the bed headboard
for the remote control to TV. As I brought my arm down, I became
very dizzy and it felt as though someone was shaking me hard. My
head bobbed back and forth and my arm jerked until I got laid down
again. It only lasted about a minute. Rather scary but I didn't even
bother waking my husband. I had already gone through a boatload of
tests and they couldn't find a thing wrong with me.
Does this sound familiar to anyone taking Neurontin????
