Re: [Peripheral_Neuropathy] Re: newbie

I have to ask you two ladies something.  I have a friend with neuropathy in her legs, feet and hands.  Does it cause tingling in those areas as well as stabbing pains and feeling like you are walking on bottle glass?  What do you do for the pain?  Do you guys live on nothing but pain pills to help you cope with all of this or do you try other methods of helping with the pain?

Sandy

Hey Tina,
You told my story. i started out just like you. i've been diagnoised since 92(i think) it doesn't get better, at least for me it hasn't. it just seems to deteriorate. some days i can hardly move it's a day in bed sleeping if i can. Have you ever been tested for fibromyalgia? it has some of the symptoms that you described. i also have that. i was tested for rhemuitoid arthritis also but didn't have it but neuropathy and fibro. most people just don't understand how we feel. they can't see to touch it ,smell it so that makes up fakes. if they only knew the excrusiating pain that we endure every day  not just once in awhile like a headache but ever day all day and night 24/7 we have chronic pain. the only way that i can endure is with the help of my lord and savior Jesus Christ the great physician. he gives me relief when i can no longer stand the burning and the muscle cramps.
i'm so glad that you srote to me. i enjoy conversing with others. i'm sorry that you have neuropathy. no one should have to go through this, but god must love us an awful lot for us to have suffer like we do.

                                                 LOL
