The cause of my neuropathy is diabetes.I started having the symptoms
before I was diagnosed with diabetes though but my doctor did not
recognize what it was.
If you know the cause it helps. With diabetic neuropathy the most
important thing to do is to keep your blood sugar within thew normal
range. But it takes time before you see positive results.

advantage. I am not sure who moderates this group, but I think its
important to have advice and help of some sort on hand. There are a
lot of people suffering, and some need answers (normally the ones
based on experience are best) so to everyone whom suffers from the
disease, it would be nice to know how it first started, how you were
diagnosed and to what effect it has on your life. I am in Australia,
my son is a 4th year medical student travelling the world, his
subject in Amsterdam at present is 'Neuropathy' Ironic.
