The Johns Hopkins Education and Research Center is holding registration
for the August 20 & 21 "Essentials for Healthy Homes Practitioner
Course" in Alexandria, VA. Information on the course can be found at:
http://www.healthyhomestraining.org/Practitioner/index.htm
The training will help you understand the connection between health and
housing and how to take a holistic approach to identify and resolve
problems, which threaten the health and well-being of residents. Nursing
Continuing education credits will be awarded.
We will also be offering the NEHA Healthy Homes Specialist credential
exam immediately after the course. While it is preferable that students
pre-apply before taking the exam, they can decide to take the exam at
the end of the class and fill out an application at that time. The
pre-requisites and application for the exam are located at this web site
on the right hand column.
