I understood that it was not necessary to be totally compliant with HIPAA with the health ministry.  Ours is totally volunteer and financially supported by the church.  It is my policy to keep things as confidential as possible.  That is one of the top requirements for volunteers who help.

We do not have a computerized system...everything is paper filed.  Our ministry is very limited at this time.   I am the primary volunteer and I have been having to do alot of caregiving myself for family members...an uncle and my Mom.  This is helping me to see so many more needs that can be addressed as time allows.  I thank God for the opportunity to be involved in this ministry.   Roger, thank you for working to keep this site going.   God Bless!     Norma Underwood, RN/PN
