Depending on your definition of "in the Chicago area" our parish
nurse program sponsors a wellness conference in the Quad Cities,
IL/IA. It offers 5 hours of CEU credit for both nurses and social
workers, includes breakfast, lunch, a keynote and 3 breakout
sessions. A brochure can be viewed online at
www.trinityqc.com/parishnurse. It is titled "Living Well and Loving
It' and each breakout session has a spiritual, physical, and
behavioral topic offered. This year's keynote is Linda Snetselaar
PhD from University of Iowa. She has worked extensively with NIH,
American Heart Assoc and the Diabetic Assoc.
