Greetings to Everyone - I am Carolyn Wright, Parish Nurse in Fargo, ND. I
hope your summer is going well. I have a request of each of you. I am a
member of the ELCA Vocation and Education Unit; I have been asked to compile
a list of the parish nurses in the ELCA. There is no current and accurate
listing of persons serving as parish nurses in ELCA congregations. We would
like to post on the ELCA website the list of parish nurses and contact
information.

We are requesting the following information:
The names of parish nurses in your church,
ELCA church's name, address, phone number, website
Contact info for the individual parish nurses e.g. email addresses, phone
numbers, and/or address if different from the church

I will be contacting other email addresses so some of you may be getting
this email repeated. Sorry about that. Please feel free to pass on this
request to parish nurses that may not be on this list. We really want to
list ALL the parish nurses that have been trained and are in the ELCA
congregations.

I will be also contacting the synods and find out about their list of parish
nurses. I am working with Tammy Devine, ELCA Wellness Coordinator and
Diaconal Minister, and Craig Settlage, Director for Rostered and Authorized
Ministry, Vocation and Education Unit, in coordinating these efforts. We
really do appreciate your time and energy and input into this process. It
is long over-due but now we are beginning!

look forward to hearing from you all!

I really miss all the sharing posts that used to be on this site. I
have learned alot from everyone about Programs to attend, programs to
provide, and other insights.
Anyone else agree with me? What can be done to get back to this?
