Attached file is a copy of a service we use for our Parish Health
Partnership program. Our program provides a "parish nurse on-call" to
several area churches, we being a Lutheran ministry serving older
adults. I think the commissioning service still applies even though we
were commissioning lay volunteers who are the "health cabinets" in their
respective congregations along with the professional nurses on staff who
are the "on-call" Parish Nurses.

I commenced my first salaried Parish Nurse position 6 weeks ago after
7 years of unpaid parish Nursing !.
We are planning a to have our commisssioning and blessing for the entire
health ministry team during our Sunday Church service, after the homily
and am looking for ideas for the Blessing prayer.
