Re: [ParishNurse] Do we have a moderator? Owner?

To be frank..anyone can spam a variety of newsgroups. There is not sometimes
alot of control over it..but I don't think this group has as much spam as
others. By far..maybe one that trickles in from time to time. But I think
the moderator is doing as best they can.

I hope all of you had a really great Christmas..we did at our church in
Burbank.
I still have not gotten the Parish Nurse Program under way as I had wanted
to. Guess it is not the time yet. But this area is very affluent, the
majority of the congregation have very good insurance or Medicare and
access to excellent medical care in the community. There are a few that are
questionable in financial abilities that I am not privy to..but even then we
have local Free Clinics and LA County Clinics that are accessible to them.
But..I will still continue to define the need at this time. It is a bit
harder to put your arms around. Do other nurses in other congregations find
it easier to determine needs?

Take care..keep up the good works you all do today and in the New Year.

Subject: [ParishNurse] Do we have a moderator? Owner?

I am curious about our owner/moderator??? Every other Yahoo Group I
belong to has one...I don't see this info on this group (and I don't
feel like going through such a large membership to search). Also,
every other group I belong to does not get spam...reference our recent
message regarding continuing ed - and previous ones regarding food
savings.
So, if we have a moderator or owner could they please do something
about this by working with Yahoo. If we don't have such a person or
persons then I feel I will take my name off of this list because it
doesn't sit well with me that "others' who aren't members can post,
and if they can post they must have access to member info as well.
Thanks!
Mary Ann - wishing all a happy Holiday season and blessings for the
New Year.
