Re: [ParishNurse] Health ministry

Yes. .. that is a good assessment. I work with OT and PT people. Excellent
people again to help with any Parish program. I am an RN..just getting
through Christian Fundamentals Classes to become Lutheran. I had started
some laywork to start a Parish Nurse Program at the church I go to....but
have decided to focus on getting into the church first..and getting to know
the doctrine better. I am sure it will help me later. I get wonderful ideas
however from you all in this forum. I have already made a Community Services
Health Directory in my time as I wait for more formal operations to gel in
our congregation in Burbank.

Kitty

I do welcome any and all ideas as we start up a program...

I just want to say let's not limit it to nursing. I am an occupational
therapist. We have plenty of assessment skills which make us appropriate
candidates for health ministry and on our team, it is me and a physician.
